Women’s gathering Zenobia’s statement on 3 martyred comrades

We at Zenobia Women’s Gathering mourn the loss of our brave comrades, Qamar al-Sud, Aisha Abdul Qader and Iman, who were brutally murdered by Turkish jihadists in Manbij during the Turkish-led invasion offensive on Manbij that has been going on for the past 2 days. These comrades were a living example of sacrifice, determination and courage in the fight for the dignity and freedom of women and society as a whole.

The martyrdom of our comrades is not the end of their struggle, but rather a new beginning to renew the promise and loyalty to our just cause and to gain freedom and independence. Their pure blood will water our land and fuel our constant struggle until we achieve victory and liberate our country from occupation.

Qamar Al Sud, Aisha Abdul Qadir and Iman resisted the forces of darkness and aggression and made enormous sacrifices in the struggle for women’s freedom and the defense of the achievements of the women’s revolution. They stayed in Manbij to resist despite the attacks of the Turkish-backed jihadists. Their heroism will be immortalized in the pages of history, for with their lives they have written a story of pride and dignity that will inspire future generations and ignite the struggle for freedom and dignity in their hearts.

We at the Zenobia Women’s Assembly emphasize the continuation of our struggle in the face of Turkish aggression, and we will continue our struggle until the expulsion of the occupiers and the liberation of all our occupied territories. Dying for one’s country and freedom is a great honor, and martyrs do not die but are immortalized in the memory of generations.

We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and all their comrades in the resistance and ask God to have mercy on them and to comfort their families and loved ones for their loss.

The martyrdom of our comrades is a clear proof of the cruelty of the Turkish aggression, but despite this, we are more determined than ever to redouble our efforts and strengthen our steadfastness in the face of this aggression. We will follow in the footsteps of the martyrs and continue our struggle until we have achieved our goals. We will not forget their sacrifice and we will work hard to realize their hopes and goals. We will continue to hold high the flag of resistance and prove to the whole world that we will not kneel or be defeated. Our brave comrades have planted seeds of hope in our hearts and we will nurture them until they grow and bear fruit. The blood of the martyrs will not be in vain and we will continue our resistance until our country is liberated and the aggressor is brought to justice.

We call on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the Turkish aggression against Manbij and protect the civilian population from the war crimes it is committing. We call on all women’s rights organizations, activists and democratic forces in the world to show solidarity with women in our region in the face of Turkish aggression and to condemn the brutal crimes of the Turkish state.
