On the 6th of January 2026 the Syrian Transitional Government (STG), it’s affiliated jihadist milicias and imperialist supporters started a big war against the Democratic Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria (DAANES). As Women Defend Rojava we are sending messages from the ground to keep you updated on the developments, on how the situation is for the people and what is needed to defend the achievements of the women’s revolution.
This is a major attack against the freedom, the rights, the self-determination of women here as well as world wide. Now more then ever we as women need to defend ourselves, defend each other, defend the revolution in Rojava!
