With the initiative of Kongra Star, women and organizations have addressed an open letter to the United Nations. The letter, signed by many prominent women such as Judith Butler, Silvia Federici and Angela Davis and others, called on the UN Secretary General and UN Women to stop the attacks of the Turkish occupying state on Northern and Eastern Syria and also to stop in Southern Kurdistan. The women wrote in an open letter that it was unacceptable for Turkey to justify its attacks on the Kurdish people before the United Nations.
