The Women’s Movement Kongra Star published a monthly newsletter on the developments and agendas of women in North an East Syria.
The Women’s Revolution is entering its 10th year and in August, women in North and East Syria celebrated the anniversary of the liberation of Manbij, organized social activities to empower young women, Armenian women established the first Armenian Women’s Council, but they also took to the streets and demonstrated, mourned the dead, held political debates and showed their willpower and perseverance for the revolution.
